Meet Joseph Behnke.

Behnke Publishing was founded on July 1st, 2026 as the publishing arm of Behnke Holdings. It sits alongside its sister brand, Books by Behnke — the storefront where every title we publish will eventually live.

Traditional publishing shuts a lot of good writers out, and self-publishing often means paying more than the work is worth just to get it into print. I wanted a third door — a small, patient house that treats independent authors seriously and keeps the cost of getting there honest.

We are moving slowly on purpose. Every manuscript will be read closely, edited honestly, and released only when it's genuinely ready. If that sounds like the kind of home your work belongs in, I would love to hear from you.
